Hesther Ann⁷ Garlinger (William⁶, Jacob⁵, "George" Johannes Georgius⁴, Johann Heinrich³ Gerlinger, Phillippus Jacobus², Christoph¹) (#312) was born in Schellsburg, Bedford, Pennsylvania January 1, 1837. Hesther died July 28, 1898 in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio, at 61 years of age. Her body was interred in McElroy Cemetary, Hardin, Ohio.

She married David A. J. McElroy in Hardin, Ohio, February 17, 1856. (David A. J. McElroy is #314.) David was born in Columbiana, Ohio December 18, 1832. David was the son of Hugh W. McElroy and Susanna Brooks. David died June 14, 1898 in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio, at 65 years of age. His body was interred in McElroy Cemetary, Hardin, Ohio. !MISC: He worked in the mines of Colorado in 1864 and 1865. Later h e was a farmer and owned 154 acres in Hardin County. He was a Democrat in p olitics and was Trustee and School Director. He and his wife Hester Ann Garli nger lived very near John J. Garlinger and Horatio Garlinger. After the death o f Horatio's widow Catherine MORRISON Garlinger in 1870, Several of Horatio's chil dren often stayed with David and Hester Ann McElroy. 182 v. Dora Alice McElroy (#810) was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio December 10, 1864. Dora died 1950 in Hardin, Ohio, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred in McElroy Cemetary, Hardin, Ohio. She married Albert Tressel. (Albert Tressel is #821.) Albert was born 1869. Albert died 1927 at 58 years of age. His body was interred in McElroy Cemetary, Hardin, Ohio.

183 vi. Isaac McElroy (#809) was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio 1866.

184 vii. Elmer "Shorty" McElroy (#819) was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio 1869. Elmer died 1937 in Hardin, Ohio, at 68 years of age. His body was interred in McElroy Cemetary, Hardin, Ohio.

185 viii. Annette "Netta" McElroy (#811) was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio 1873.

186 ix. Muda McElroy (#812) was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio 1875.
