7. John² Hassan (Hugh¹) (#24) was born in Pennsylvania April 5, 1788. John died April 11, 1877 in Van Buren Twp., Hancock, Ohio, at 89 years of age. His body was interred in Hasson Cemetary, Hancock, Indiana.

He married Elizabeth Roberts 1811. (Elizabeth Roberts is #25.) Elizabeth was born in Connecticut February 23, 1790. Elizabeth died January 16, 1879 in Van Buren Twp., Hancock, Ohio, at 88 years of age. At 21 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Lucinda Hassan December 5, 1811. At 23 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Eliab A. Hassan July 18, 1813. At 25 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Robert Hassan September 5, 1815. At 29 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of George B. Hassan March 2, 1819. At 31 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Nancy A. Hassan February 15, 1822. At 35 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Adonijah Hassan in Trumball, Ohio, April 4, 1825. At 38 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Marietta Hassan August 31, 1828. At 40 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Lydia C. Hassan October 8, 1830. At 45 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Elizabeth R. Hassan November 1, 1835.

At 23 years of age John became the father of Lucinda Hassan December 5, 1811. At 25 years of age John became the father of Eliab A. Hassan July 18, 1813. At 27 years of age John became the father of Robert Hassan September 5, 1815. At 30 years of age John became the father of George B. Hassan March 2, 1819. At 33 years of age John became the father of Nancy A. Hassan February 15, 1822. At 36 years of age John became the father of Adonijah Hassan in Trumball, Ohio, April 4, 1825. At 40 years of age John became the father of Marietta Hassan August 31, 1828. At 42 years of age John became the father of Lydia C. Hassan October 8, 1830. At 47 years of age John became the father of Elizabeth R. Hassan November 1, 1835.

John Hassan and Elizabeth Roberts had the following children:

9 i. Lucinda³ Hassan (#350) was born December 5, 1811. Lucinda died November 3, 1849 at 37 years of age. She married David C. Branan. (David C. Branan is #358.)

10 ii. Eliab A. Hassan (#351) was born July 18, 1813. Eliab died April 22, 1891 at 77 years of age. He married twice. He married Mary Elliott. (Mary Elliott is #359.) He married Martha Roberts. (Martha Roberts is #360.)

11 iii. Robert Hassan (#352) was born September 5, 1815. Robert died October 16, 1889 at 74 years of age. He married twice. He married Fanny J. Burns. (Fanny J. Burns is #361.) He married Anne Speer. (Anne Speer is #362.)

12 iv. George B. Hassan (#353) was born March 2, 1819. George died before 1873. He married Elizabeth Butler. (Elizabeth Butler is #363.)

13 v. Nancy A. Hassan (#354) was born February 15, 1822. Nancy died August 31, 1894 at 72 years of age. She married John Henry. (John Henry is #364.)

+ 14 vi. Adonijah Hassan was born April 4, 1825.

15 vii. Marietta Hassan (#355) was born August 31, 1828. Marietta died May 17, 1905 at 76 years of age. She married James Morrison. (James Morrison is #365.)

16 viii. Lydia C. Hassan (#356) was born October 8, 1830. Lydia died September 27, 1895 at 64 years of age. She married Alexander Dennison. (Alexander Dennison is #366.)

17 ix. Elizabeth R. Hassan (#357) was born November 1, 1835. She married John W. Cummans. (John W. Cummans is #367.)

She was christened July 4, 1863.
