19. Mary Melicendra4 Hassan (Adonijah3, John2, Hugh1) (#9) was born in Van Buren Twp., Hancock, Ohio November 1, 1859. Mary died February 24, 1938 in Portland, Jay, Indiana, at 78 years of age.

She married Henry Harrison Garlinger in Hancock, Ohio, August 4, 1877. (Henry Harrison Garlinger is #8.) Henry was born in Liberty Twp., Hardin, Ohio October 31, 1855. Henry was the son of Horatio Garlinger and Catherine Morrison. Henry died March 1, 1931 in Gooding, Idaho, at 75 years of age. At 22 years of age Henry became the father of Carrie Ruth Garlinger in Orange Twp., Hancock, Ohio, May 29, 1878. At 23 years of age Henry became the father of Bertalie Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, August 27, 1879. At 25 years of age Henry became the father of Gertrude Garlinger in Orange Twp., Hancock, Ohio, March 7, 1881. At 28 years of age Henry became the father of Wilson Woodrow Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, January 8, 1884. At 29 years of age Henry became the father of Maybell Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, October 23, 1885. At 32 years of age Henry became the father of Margaret Olive Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, November 22, 1887. At 33 years of age Henry became the father of Alma Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, September 30, 1889. At 36 years of age Henry became the father of Addie Esther Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, November 10, 1891. At 38 years of age Henry became the father of Dollie Ruah Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, February 6, 1894. At 41 years of age Henry became the father of Mark Harold Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, January 16, 1897.

At 18 years of age Mary became the mother of Carrie Ruth Garlinger in Orange Twp., Hancock, Ohio, May 29, 1878. At 19 years of age Mary became the mother of Bertalie Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, August 27, 1879. At 21 years of age Mary became the mother of Gertrude Garlinger in Orange Twp., Hancock, Ohio, March 7, 1881. At 24 years of age Mary became the mother of Wilson Woodrow Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, January 8, 1884. At 25 years of age Mary became the mother of Maybell Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, October 23, 1885. At 28 years of age Mary became the mother of Margaret Olive Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, November 22, 1887. At 29 years of age Mary became the mother of Alma Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, September 30, 1889. At 32 years of age Mary became the mother of Addie Esther Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, November 10, 1891. At 34 years of age Mary became the mother of Dollie Ruah Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, February 6, 1894. At 37 years of age Mary became the mother of Mark Harold Garlinger in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio, January 16, 1897.

Mary Melicendra Hassan and Henry Harrison Garlinger had the following children:

child 28 iv. Wilson Woodrow Garlinger (#50) was born in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio January 8, 1884. He married Anna Welsh. (Anna Welsh is #517.)

child 29 v. Maybell Garlinger (#51) was born in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio October 23, 1885. Maybell died in Bryant, Jay, Indiana. She married Vern Speer. (Vern Speer is #516.)

child 30 vi. Margaret Olive Garlinger (#52) was born in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio November 22, 1887. Margaret died August 1, 1888 at less than one year of age.

child + 31 vii. Alma Garlinger was born September 30, 1889.

child 32 viii. Addie Esther Garlinger (#54) was born in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio November 10, 1891.

child 33 ix. Dollie Ruah Garlinger (#55) was born in Mt. Cory, Hancock, Ohio February 6, 1894. Dollie died 1895 at 1 year of age.

child + 34 x. Mark Harold Garlinger was born January 16, 1897.
